Qing Xie

Qing Xie is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in research and development, specializing in power management and system design. At Oracle, from November 2014 to May 2016, Qing Xie designed algorithms for power management in SPARC processors and developed frequency generating and temperature sensing circuits. Prior experience includes roles as Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of Southern California, where Qing Xie led discussions and conducted research in areas such as thermal simulation and low power system optimization. A brief internship at NVIDIA involved power estimation for Tegra SoC, along with thermal management algorithm design. Currently, as a Staff Software Engineer and Tech Lead Manager at Google since May 2016, Qing Xie is focused on enhancing Google Play Commerce and developing billing APIs. Academic credentials include a BS in Physics from Fudan University, an MS in Physics from Northeastern University, and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California.
