Rahul Agarwal is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and product development across multiple top-tier organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Google since June 2022, Rahul leads an 80-member engineering organization focused on creating Gemini-AI powered products to enhance developer productivity. Prior to Google, Rahul held the position of Engineering Leader at Meta from March 2020 to June 2022, where oversight of critical privacy products and services resulted in significant cost savings for the company. At Amazon Web Services, Rahul was instrumental in establishing and managing an engineering team that successfully developed the EC2 Spot service. Additionally, Rahul served as a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, leading technology initiatives in private wealth management, and began his career as an R&D Trainee at Avaya. Rahul holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from HBTI Kanpur.
