Rajat Bhargava

Rajat Bhargava is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as Engineering Director, Silicon, and Silicon Site Lead at Google since May 2018, Rajat oversees hiring across various development processes, emphasizing the establishment of a top-tier team within the Bangalore office. Prior to Google, Rajat held the position of Director at Intel Corporation from January 2017 to May 2018, focusing on IoT, Client Platforms, and Modem SoCs. Rajat also spent nearly a decade at Broadcom India Pvt. Ltd. as Director and IC Design Engineer, leading a team of 90 engineers in design and validation. Earlier in the career, Rajat worked as a Hardware Engineer at Cisco Systems and Skystone Systems. Rajat holds a B.Tech (hons) in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and an M.Sc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta.
