Rajkumar Samuel

Rajkumar Samuel is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in scalable system architectures and advanced technology development. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Google since December 2014, Rajkumar specializes in efficiently scaling LLM training across data center networks using MegaScale XLA, a key technology for training Gemini and other LLMs on TPUs. Previously, Rajkumar held the position of Senior Staff Engineer at Qualcomm, where contributions were made to the HW/SW architecture group for the first generation of gigabit Wi-Fi chipsets. Experience as a Staff Design Engineer at Applied Micro Circuits Corporation involved defining system architecture for SOCs and advanced LTE base stations, while a role as Senior DSP Engineer at Quantenna Communications focused on software-based beamforming solutions.
