Ramy Eskander

Ramy Eskander, Ph.D., is a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Google, where they focus on core ML and Google Cloud. They also serve as an Adjunct Professor at James Madison University, teaching Machine Learning and Data Science. Prior to their current roles, Ramy founded Ramitechs, leading a diverse team to create language resources and annotated datasets, and held positions as a Senior Research Scientist at Twitter and Agolo. With over twelve years of experience in software development and a strong background in natural language processing, they have contributed significantly to various high-profile projects and academic initiatives. Ramy earned their Ph.D. in Computer Science from Columbia University, where they also mentored graduate students and conducted impactful research.
