Ramya Mallya

Ramya Mallya is a seasoned UX professional with extensive experience in leading design teams and projects, particularly at Google from November 2014 to March 2017, where Ramya held multiple leadership roles including UX Lead for Google Payments Tools, Google Shopping Customer Support & Fulfillment, and Google Play Growth & Loyalty. In these positions, Ramya successfully led the design of enterprise applications and workflows while advocating for user-centered design principles. Prior to Google, Ramya served as a team co-lead and technology lead at Team Aria during the MHCI Capstone project and as a designer and assistant to the director at Shona Dee Academy of Dance, where extensive promotional materials were developed. Additionally, Ramya contributed as an assistant director at Arunn Rathinam's Dance Academy. Ramya holds a Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications from M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology.
