Raphael Hoffmann is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in natural language processing (NLP) and software engineering. Hoffmann served as a Research Assistant at the University of Washington from 2005 to 2012, contributing to advancements in distantly supervised NLP and mixed-initiative interfaces, garnering over 1000 citations for published research. As the Founder of Readr from 2013 to 2015, Hoffmann developed a tool for efficient entity and relation extraction.
