Ray Yi

Ray Yi is a data science professional with a Bachelor of Science in Data Science and a minor in Management from UC Irvine. Experience includes a role as a Data Science Intern at Wing, where KPIs were identified and mySQL queries were written for data visualization, and a position as a Data Science Intern at Pacific Life, where an RShiny dashboard was developed to visualize and rank policy abnormalities. As Vice President of the Undergraduate Society of Statistics and Data Science, Ray directed workshops and increased active membership by over 40% through outreach to local tech companies. Additional experience includes serving as a Writing Peer Tutor at UC Irvine and progressing to roles such as Data Analyst and Senior Data Analyst at Google.
