Refaat Issa

Refaat Issa is currently a Technical Program Manager at Google, focusing on Google Kubernetes Engine within Google Cloud. Prior to this role, Refaat held various positions at Microsoft, where they significantly contributed to cloud and enterprise solutions, including leading the development of Nano Server and the PowerShell Integrated Scripting Environment. Refaat also served as a Principal Consultant at Microsoft Consulting Services, where they co-designed a global Junior Developer program. Their earlier experience includes roles at IBM and Nortel Networks, where they demonstrated a strong ability in software development and automation. Refaat earned a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Cairo University and an MSc in Computer Engineering from the University of Miami.
