Ria Gupta

Ria Gupta is a Computer Science graduate from the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi. Ria has a strong background in research and development, having worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Human-Machine Interaction and The Ahuja Lab, focusing on gesture tracking from spoken language and Deep Neural Network-based prediction models, respectively. As a Student Developer for Google Summer of Code, Ria implemented the Social Currency Metric System for Grimoirelabs. Ria's professional experience includes a role as Software Engineer at Google, contributing to the LookeriOS mobile application. Additionally, Ria has demonstrated leadership through various positions, such as Core Member of Women Who Code, President of the Women in Tech Club at IIITD, and involvement in organizing technical and cultural events, fostering community engagement and promoting participation of women in STEM fields.
