Richard Ng

Richard Ng has extensive experience in the technology sector, beginning with a consultancy role at CCO from 2005 to 2006, followed by positions at AboveNet as a System Engineer from 2006 to 2008. Richard then joined Microsoft, where roles included Rapid Response Engineer, Principal Technology Specialist, Principal Solution Specialist, Principal Account Technology Strategist, and Data Solution Architect from 2008 to 2010. From August 2022 to September 2024, Richard served as Head of Solution Architecture for Applied AI Engineering at Google, cofounding the team focused on Generative AI and leading efforts to address complex customer challenges in large-scale AI infrastructure. Richard also held the title of Director in the same division, overseeing both Applied AI Engineers and solutions development for Cloud AI Engineering. Richard holds a Master of Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
