Rob Scott is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in software architecture and site reliability engineering. Rob held the position of Staff Software Engineer at Google from June 2019 to April 2023, leading the Gateway API within the GKE Networking team. Prior to Google, Rob served as a Senior Software Engineer and Lead Site Reliability Engineer at ReactiveOps, Inc., and as VP of Software Architecture at Spire, where efforts were made to enhance security and migrate infrastructure to AWS with Kubernetes. Rob's earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Developer at Blacksnow Media, LLC, and Brighten Labs, respectively. Rob holds a BA in Computer Science from Southern Adventist University.
