Robert Mechler

Robert Mechler is a business-focused Information Security Leader with a progressive background in building effective organizations and programs that mitigate risk and enhance business value across complex enterprise environments. They served as a RACF Security Administrator at NYNEX Mobile Communications and later held various leadership roles, including Staff Director of Information Security at Bell Atlantic Mobile and Executive Director/CISO at Verizon. Currently, Robert is the Field CISO and Director of the Office of the CISO at Google. Additionally, they are pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at the University of Delaware and a Master's degree in Management Information Systems at Stevens Institute of Technology.
