Ron Desmond

Ron Desmond is a Senior Software Engineer at Google, currently working on the Artifact Analysis team within GCP, focusing on vulnerability scanning, package metadata, and supply chain security at scale. Previously, Ron held the position of Senior Software Engineer at T. Rowe Price, where they contributed to a greenfield financial reporting system and optimized CI pipeline execution. Before that, Ron worked as a Web Developer at Wells Fargo, enhancing payment services and integration with the Zelle network. Ron began their career as a Software Development Intern at S&C Electric Company and has also worked as a Software Contractor for IoT Flash. Ron earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
