Ruijiao Sun

Ruijiao Sun has extensive experience in research and software engineering, serving as a Research Assistant at the University of Houston from August 2019 to May 2024, where significant contributions included the development of an open-source simulation tool, sCWatter, and a multimodal optical system. Prior to this role, Ruijiao worked at CVMI Lab from September 2018 to March 2019, managing projects using Docker and Git while implementing advanced neural network architectures on remote sensing images. Additionally, Ruijiao gained industry experience as a Software Engineer at Google from July 2024 to August 2022, focusing on optimizing global placement algorithms and enhancing distributed computing capabilities using TensorFlow. Ruijiao holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and is pursuing a PhD in Computer Engineering at the University of Houston.
