Russell Burchell

Russell Burchell has extensive experience in project and program management within the marine and telecommunications sectors. Key roles include Program Manager at Seaborn from February 2021 to February 2023, Marine Installation Project Manager at Alcatel Submarine Networks, Inc. from September 2012 to October 2018, and various positions at Seaborn Networks from November 2018 to February 2021, culminating in the role of Director of Subsea/New Builds and Projects. Prior to that, Russell held a Technical Program Manager position focused on submarine cables at Google since September 2025, and has worked in multiple engineering and management roles at Alcatel-Lucent in the early 2000s and at ALDA Marine from March 2008 to September 2010.
