Ruth Ann Castro

Ruth Ann Castro is a seasoned professional in Global Environmental Health and Safety, currently serving as Senior Counsel at Google since 2010 and as a Board Member at the Environmental Law Institute since 2017. They began their legal career as a Summer Law Clerk at the US EPA in 1998 and have held various positions, including Special Counsel at Farella Braun + Martel LLP from 2002 to 2010 and Associate at Fenwick and West from 2000 to 2001. Ruth Ann holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economies of Industrial Societies from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Juris Doctor in Environmental Law from Tulane University Law School.
