Ryan Neph

Ryan Neph is an accomplished professional with a robust educational background, holding a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Physics from Kettering University, and a Ph.D. in Physics and Biology in Medicine from the University of California, Los Angeles. As a PhD Candidate Researcher at UCLA, Ryan focused on advancing technology in cancer treatment through research in Deep Learning, Optimization, and GPU Computing. Currently, as a Senior Software Engineer at Google, Ryan contributes to graphics for Chrome OS and research for Google Health. Prior experience includes serving as an NVH Applications Engineer at Siemens PLM Software, where Ryan developed data acquisition and analysis software and conducted acoustic and vibration testing. Expertise encompasses Machine/Deep Learning, Large-scale Convex Optimization, Image Segmentation, and Object Detection.
