Ryan Wu is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in data science and software engineering. Ryan served as Chief Data Scientist and Head of the AI Recommendation Unit at Tantan from April 2018 to May 2020, and has been with Google since September 2020 as Tech Lead Manager and Staff Software Engineer. Prior to these positions, Ryan co-founded GageIn Inc. and was its Director of R&D, held the role of Staff Machine Learning Scientist/Tech Lead at LinkedIn, and worked as a Senior Software Engineer at ASSIA Inc. and Principal Research Engineer at Palgloo. Ryan holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz, a Master’s Degree from Beijing University of Post and Telecommunications, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Engineering from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
