S. Levent Yilmaz is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in both academia and the tech industry. Currently, Yilmaz serves as a Software Engineer at Google and Google DeepMind. Previously, Yilmaz held various positions at MathWorks, including Principal Software Engineer and Senior Technical Team Lead, and also served as a Research Professor and Research Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh. Yilmaz began a career in research as a Research Intern at the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics.
