Saket Joshi

Senior Software Engineer at Google

Saket Joshi is a Senior Software Engineer at Google since January 2020, focusing on research and engineering challenges in AI and Machine Learning. Prior to this, Saket worked as an Applied Scientist at Amazon from September 2016 to January 2020, where expertise in AI and Machine Learning was applied to enhance Amazon's Alexa through personalization and natural language understanding. Earlier experiences include roles as a Member of Technical Staff at Cycorp and a Computing Innovations Fellow and Post Doctoral Researcher at Oregon State University, where Saket co-developed algorithms for automated planning in complex environments. Additional contributions were made as a Visiting Scientist at Wake Forest University, developing predictive models in Bio-Medicine, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at Tufts University, where Saket invented First Order Decision Diagrams. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Computer Science (AI and Machine Learning) from Tufts University, an MS in Computer Science (Machine Learning) from Oregon State University, and a B.E. in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
