Sam O'Dell

Sam O'Dell is a technical writer with extensive experience in documentation and IT support. O'Dell began the career as a Student Technician at Washington and Lee University, providing IT assistance and computer repairs from August 2013 to May 2015, and also worked as a Summer Research Assistant. O'Dell gained further experience as a Work Study Student/Intern at Shenandoah Literary Magazine, where responsibilities included handling submissions and office duties, and completed an internship at the Harry S. Truman Library and Museum focused on historical document management. O'Dell advanced in the technical writing field with a role at Salesforce, contributing significantly to the creation of the "Recipes for Unit Testing" guide, and progressing to become a Technical Writer. Currently, O'Dell is employed at Google, working on internal documentation for the Google Search team and previously handling Google Cloud serverless products. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and English from Washington and Lee University.
