Sam Sarofeen is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in both private and public sectors. Sam began a career as a Campus Representative for Themis Bar Review, followed by a role as a Student Intern at the Notre Dame Legal Aid Clinic, where support was provided for startup legal needs. A legal internship at the United States Attorney's Office honed research and writing skills for civil and criminal cases. Sam transitioned to the US Environmental Protection Agency as a Summer Honors Law Clerk in the Civil Air Enforcement Division. Sam joined IBM as an Attorney on the Large Deal Team, contributing to over $5 billion in transactions while supporting global services, and later advanced to Senior Regional Counsel - Global Markets East, managing a team and transactions across various IBM offerings. Currently, Sam serves as Commercial Counsel at Google. Academically, Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management from New York University and a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School.
