Sam Shi is a mixed methods researcher, design thinker, and strategist with 10 years of experience in product and design strategy across various industries, including ad tech, travel, and wellness. Currently a Senior UX Researcher at Google and a Board Member & Composer for the Pöhler Dance Company, Sam founded the independent record label But Did You Dance in 2021. Fluent in English and Swedish, Sam has also studied Arabic and Mandarin and has lived in multiple countries. Sam's artistic pursuits include singing, songwriting, and producing music, while an impressive past as a professional horseback rider includes placing 2nd in a Junior Grand Prix division in 2009.
