Sampo Jalasto

Sampo Jalasto is a seasoned UX professional with extensive experience in design and user experience management. Currently serving as a Senior UX Manager at Google since March 2021, Sampo leads UX initiatives in the Google identity and connections space, enhancing ecosystem value across various products. Previously, Sampo held the position of Vice President of Design at Capgemini Invent, overseeing the experience design practice in North America and acting as a global design subject matter expert. Prior roles at Idean, from Lead Designer to Head of Design, involved leading cross-disciplinary teams and managing projects across multiple platforms. Sampo's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Media, Web Communication, and Design from Laurea University and ongoing studies toward a Master's in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia at Aalto University.
