Sanjiv Narayan

Sanjiv Narayan is an experienced engineering director with a strong background in technology and leadership. Currently serving as the Engineering Director for Workspace Platform Infrastructure at Google since October 2015, Sanjiv has previously held key positions including Director of Operations at Mentor Graphics and Vice President & Managing Director at Calypto Design Systems, where significant contributions were made to establishing and leading the R&D organization in India. Earlier roles included Senior Architect at Cadence Design Systems, where Sanjiv led R&D for Synthesis and Design for Test technologies, and Architect at Ambit Design Systems, contributing to critical developments in hardware synthesis products. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and MS in Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine, and a B.Tech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
