Sankalp Singh is a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Google, where they lead a team developing planet-scale distributed systems for managing inter-datacenter network traffic. Prior to this, Sankalp was a Postdoctoral Fellow and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they contributed to the development of the Network Access Policy Tool (NetAPT) for network policy evaluation. They also gained experience as a Research Intern at Sun Microsystems, focusing on secure online inventory management. Sankalp is currently pursuing an M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, alongside a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
