Sencer Selcuk holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Bilkent University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from Princeton University. Sencer began a career in academia as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Princeton University from September 2015 to November 2017, followed by a role as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Brookhaven National Laboratory until March 2019. Transitioning to the tech industry, Sencer joined Google in November 2017 as a Software Engineer and advanced to the position of Staff Software Engineer by November 2021, ultimately becoming a Senior Software Engineer until October 2024.
