Sergiu Lupu is a Machine Learning Specialist at Google since January 2023, with a strong background in data science and machine learning. From January 2020 to January 2023, Sergiu served as a Senior Data Scientist at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where responsibilities included collaborating with EMEA enterprises on machine learning proofs of concept, minimum viable products, and MLOps, while supporting the adoption of new AWS ML features. Prior to AWS, Sergiu was the CEO and Co-founder of Teporto Smart Shuttles from January 2018 to January 2020, focusing on flexible and efficient shuttle services for employees and residents. Earlier experience includes developing algorithms at ThetaRay from January 2015 to January 2018 and working as a Data Scientist in Web Fraud Analysis at IBM from January 2013 to January 2015. Sergiu holds a Master's degree in Physics and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
