Shane Roberts

Shane Roberts is an accomplished data scientist with comprehensive experience across various organizations, including Google, SCAN Health Plan, and the University of California, Los Angeles. At UCLA, Shane worked as a Research Associate in the Social Interaction & Social Stigma Lab and later as a Graduate Student Researcher, focusing on high school student behavior in online education. Shane's role at SCAN Health Plan involved leading customer-focused analytics initiatives, improving customer experience through data science, and establishing a voice of the customer program. Currently, as a Data Scientist at Google, Shane leads the development of natural language processing and machine learning solutions to enhance customer feedback mechanisms in product design. Educationally, Shane holds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics, a Master of Science in Statistics, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, all from UCLA.
