Shangyou Wu

Shangyou Wu has extensive experience in data science, having worked at multiple prominent organizations. From September 2020 to May 2022, Shangyou served as a Data Scientist at CVS Health, focusing on Analytics & Behavior Change, and also held the same position at Aetna during that time. Prior to these roles, a Research Assistant position was held at the Columbia Department of Biomedical Informatics for a COVID-19 Clinical Trial Eligibility Criteria Project in mid-2020. Subsequent roles include a Data Scientist at Pinterest from May 2022 to August 2025, and currently, Shangyou is a Data Scientist at Google, specializing in AI Data Science with a focus on Vertex AI. Earlier experience includes an internship as an Algorithm Analyst at 杉数科技（北京）有限公司 in 2018 and a Data Scientist Summer Intern role at GrowSquares in 2019. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Experimental Class of Information Management from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and a Master of Science in Business Analytics from Columbia University.
