Shankar Murali is a Manager II in Trust and Safety Payments at Google, where they lead a team of risk analysts focused on safeguarding enterprise payment products against fraud and abuse. With over 16 years of experience in payments processing and fraud prevention, Shankar has developed risk management strategies and collaborated with cross-functional teams to enhance security and integrity. Prior to their current role, they held various positions at Google including Strategist in Ads Quality, where they worked on improving the overall quality of Google's ad network. Shankar's early career includes serving as a Subject Matter Expert at GE Capital, where they led investigations for Fraud and Underwriting. They hold a certification as a ScrumMaster® (CSM®) and attended the National Institute of Information Technology.
