Shannon Shaper

Shannon Shaper is a seasoned global leader at the intersection of analytics, people strategy, and leadership development. Currently serving as the Global Director of Organizational Effectiveness and People Analytics at Google, Shannon leads a team responsible for delivering workforce insights for over 187,000 employees worldwide. With nearly two decades of experience, Shannon has held multiple leadership roles at Google, including Global Head of People Operations Reporting and Insights and Head of Hiring Innovation, where they reshaped hiring processes and implemented analytics tools. In addition to their role at Google, Shannon operates a coaching practice, Coaching Collective, providing transformational coaching to executives. Shannon holds an Ed.M. in Psychology from Harvard Graduate School of Education and is pursuing a B.A. in Chinese and English from Middlebury College.
