Shashank Gupta

Shashank Gupta has a strong background in software engineering, with experience spanning various roles at Google since 2020, currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer and technical lead for Google Sites. Prior to this, Shashank worked as a Senior Software Engineer leading a team focused on improving office files interaction within the Google Docs ecosystem. Earlier roles at Google included contributions to both backend and frontend projects, as well as managing format conversions for Google Docs. Shashank began a career in software development as an intern at Sumo Logic in 2014, where responsibilities included converting SumoLanguage queries to PostGreSql queries using Abstract Syntax Trees. Shashank holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology and completed high school at Rukmin Devi Public School.
