Shashank Pandey is an accomplished electrical engineer with extensive experience in research and hardware engineering. Starting as a Research Assistant at the University of Utah from August 2009 to December 2016, Shashank developed Terahertz time domain spectroscopy and designed waveguides for signal routing. Following this, a tenure as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Penn State University from April 2017 to October 2018 involved investigating ultra-fast dynamics in complex oxides and designing topological conduits at Terahertz frequency. Shashank then worked at Intel Corporation from October 2018 to April 2025, focusing on direct wafer bonding and defect metrology, before transitioning to a Hardware Engineer position at Google in April 2025. Shashank holds a Master of Science and a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah.
