Shawn Jones has extensive experience in computer science and research, having held significant roles at SPAWAR as a Computer Scientist from May 1997 to June 2015, where Shawn led software development projects, mentored employees, and contributed to various automated systems and applications utilizing languages such as Python, Java, and BASH. Following this, Shawn served as a Research Assistant at Old Dominion University from June 2013 to October 2019, focusing on web archiving technology and data preservation, including the development of the Memento client library and various summarization algorithms.
