Shawna Wei is a skilled software engineer with a diverse background in technology and research. Experience includes a role at Alberta Children's Hospital as a Summer Research Unit Intern focused on hematology and oncology research. Shawna has contributed to Microsoft from August 2019 to August 2022, working as a Software Engineer on Azure platforms, bringing open-source big data processing frameworks to Azure cloud services, and enhancing query performance in SCOPE and U-SQL during earlier internships.
