Shefali Janorkar

Shefali Janorkar is a Computer Science graduate from Cornell University, with diverse experience spanning software engineering, research, and volunteer work. Currently a Software Engineer at Google, Shefali previously interned at Capital One, where efforts focused on enhancing an automated vulnerabilities remediation tool. Additional internships at Blickman Industries involved creating ERP system reports and automating data imports, while a remote internship at Learn2Type.com centered on generating and sending PDFs via HTML and ColdFusion. Research experience includes assisting Professor David Mimno at Cornell in data science and text mining. Volunteer roles encompass service at the New York Public Library, Richmond University Medical Center, and as Fundraising Chair for Guiding Eyes for the Blind at Cornell. Active involvement in the Society of Women Engineers included organizing corporate events and contributing to newsletters.
