Shenglei Mao

Shenglei Mao is an experienced software engineer with a diverse background in cloud engineering, backup and recovery, and infrastructure automation. Professional experience includes roles at Citrix, where Shenglei worked on the Observability Platform, and Rubrik, Inc., focused on Kubernetes backup and recovery. Prior internships at ByteDance and Yufu Identity involved private cloud infrastructure as code and backend platform lifecycle management, respectively. Currently employed at Google since September 2022, Shenglei holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering and an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, both from Purdue University, alongside a high school diploma from Ningbo Xiaoshi High School.
