Shirlene Wade

Shirlene Wade is a Senior Data Scientist at Google with 10 years of experience in designing experiments and building models to study human behavior. Shirlene completed a PhD in Brain & Cognitive Science at the University of Rochester, focusing on curiosity across the lifespan. Previously, Shirlene worked at Disney Streaming, where they developed models and automated tools to combat churn and fraud, and also served as a Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science. Shirlene's early research experience includes designing web-based experiments at the University of Rochester and collaborating cross-departmentally at UC Berkeley to finalize their doctoral thesis.
