Shpend Mahmuti has a robust background in machine learning, data science, and software engineering, beginning with an internship at the Ministry of Finance in 2011. Shpend gained experience as a Software Engineer at Asseco South Eastern Europe and participated in guided research on Neural Machine Translation at Fortiss. Shpend held roles at Instana as a Machine Learning Engineer and at doo GmbH as a Data Scientist and later as a Senior Data Scientist and Automation Engineer from 2017 to 2021. In 2022, Shpend joined Google, where responsibilities included serving as a Senior Strategist and Engineering Analyst in the Trust and Safety division. Shpend holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Prishtina and a Master's degree in Informatics from the Technical University of Munich.
