Shyam Patel is a Mechatronics Engineer at Google since June 2025, previously serving as an Automation and Controls Engineer II at SpaceX focused on quality satellite production. Prior experience includes a role as a Lead Development Innovator in Nike's innovation team, where Shyam balanced product development and R&D efforts, and as a Graduate Researcher in the Morphing Structures Group at UC Irvine, which involved significant work on tensegrity systems.
