Simon Hangl

Simon Hangl has a robust background in computer science and robotics, with significant experience as a researcher, lecturer, and software engineer. Between November 2013 and September 2017, Simon served as a University Assistant at Universität Innsbruck, focusing on developmental robotics while contributing to EU FP7 projects. Prior to this, Simon worked as a Student Researcher at STI Innsbruck from July 2008 to June 2013, engaging in Semantic Web Technologies. More recently, in a series of roles from 2021 onwards, Simon held positions including Team Lead and Software Engineer at V-ZUG AG, overseeing software engineering teams and system architecture for IoT applications. Additional experience includes software design engineering at ASML and lecturing on Advanced Programming at MCI Management Center Innsbruck. Simon holds a PhD in Computer Science and Robotics, along with multiple degrees in Computer Science, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Physics at Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck.
