Simran Kaur

Simran Kaur is a Senior Software Engineer at Google since February 2022, previously serving as a Software Engineer. Experience includes an internship as an Algorithm Development Engineer Intern at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in mid-2021. In academia, Simran was Vice Chairperson at IEEE Aligarh Muslim University from August 2017 to August 2018 and held the position of Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in June 2017, contributing to a project on anomaly detection in video surveillance. An industrial trainee role at the Defence Research and Development Organisation in January 2017 focused on software development for laser applications. Additional experience includes a Research Fellow position at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre in mid-2016, working on control and data acquisition for spectrometer experiments. Simran is pursuing a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University since 2020 and completed a Bachelor's degree at Aligarh Muslim University from 2014 to 2018.
