Siwen Liu is a staff user experience researcher at Google, where they have worked since 2022 and previously held roles as a senior user experience researcher and user experience researcher. With around 15 years of experience in user research and design, Siwen also worked at Hitachi America, Ltd. as a user experience researcher from 2014 to 2016 and contributed as a design researcher at Lenovo in 2013. They earned a Ph.D. in Design and a minor in Cognitive Science from North Carolina State University, where they also served as a research assistant. Currently, Siwen is pursuing a Master of Arts in Industrial Design and a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Design while serving on the advisory board for the Transformative Leadership Program at the University of California, Riverside.
