Smidth Panchamia is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in cloud storage solutions and systems design. Holding an M.S. in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.E. in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai, Smidth began a career as a project intern at IIT Bombay, followed by a role as a systems design engineer intern at Microsoft. Post Microsoft, Smidth contributed to NVIDIA in GPU diagnostics before transitioning to Riverbed Technology as a developer in the Whitewater product team. Subsequent roles include staff software engineer positions at MapR Data Technologies, where features for Apache Drill and consistency semantics for secondary indexes were implemented, and a position at Cohesity as a staff software engineer.
