Sneha Akula has a robust background in engineering and technical program management, beginning with an Engineering Internship at Verizon Telematics, Inc. in 2011, where a prototype for in-band DTMF signaling was developed. Progressing to roles such as Engineer II and later Technology Manager at Verizon Telematics, Akula engineered significant improvements to a vehicle incident detection algorithm, achieving a 16% reduction in false-positive emergency calls, potentially saving over 9000 lives.
