Sofie Vickers

Sofie Vickers is an experienced User Experience Researcher with a diverse background in digital product research across various industries, including EdTech, Health, and Art. Current engagement as a User Experience Researcher at Google involves contributing to the Core UX Rapid Research team, focusing on informing strategic decisions through horizontal research. Previous roles include significant contributions at YouTube as a member of the Rapid Research team and as a UX Researcher at Sofie Vickers UX. Sofie has also served as a Research Consultant at the Public Library of Science, leading initiatives to assess the impacts of COVID-19 on researchers. Education includes a BA in Anthropology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, a Master of Science in Biological Anthropology from UCL, and specialized training in UX Research and Design.
