Soumyadeep Basu

Soumyadeep Basu is a highly skilled cybersecurity professional with a diverse background in security analysis and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Security Analyst at Google since November 2025, Soumyadeep previously held the position of Senior Security Engineer at GoDaddy from April 2024 to October 2025. At CRED, from March 2023 to April 2024, Soumyadeep established and advanced the Threat Intelligence charter, enhancing threat detection capabilities through comprehensive analysis and automation in cloud environments. Prior experience includes working as an Associate Security Researcher at Zscaler, where Soumyadeep developed cloud deception techniques, and as a Red Team Intern at Mandiant, focusing on offensive security and Active Directory assessments. Soumyadeep holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from the Indian Institute Of Information Technology Allahabad, completed in 2022.
