Sourav Panda

Sourav Panda has a diverse background in research and software engineering, holding positions as a Research Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and subsequently at City University of Hong Kong from October 2014 to July 2017. Sourav also gained industry experience as an HK/HTS Industrial Placement Trainee at HSBC Global Banking and Markets from June 2015 to June 2016. Recently, Sourav worked as a Software Engineer at Google in January 2023, contributing to projects focused on Linux Memory Management and optimizing thread scheduling for core applications, as well as conducting network traffic analysis and anomaly detection for virtual machines. Sourav earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from the University of California, Riverside, completing the degree in 2022.
